Cause Overview:
Period poverty and lack of hygiene supplies cause millions of adolescent girls to miss up to 20% of the school year. FL.Y’s Dignity Initiative provides the necessary supplies and education to ensure that biological realities never stop a girl from pursuing her dreams. We believe hygiene is a fundamental human right that directly impacts a child's confidence and presence in school.
Objectives:
Dignity Kits: Distributing monthly kits containing soap, dental care, and menstrual hygiene products for adolescent girls.
Sanitation Access: Renovating and maintaining private, clean restrooms within our partner schools to ensure a safe environment for all.
