Connecting underprivileged talent with industry professionals to bridge the gap between school and career.
Cause Overview:
Education gives a child knowledge, but mentorship gives them a map. Most underprivileged students lack the "social capital"—the network of advisors—that their wealthier peers take for granted. FL.Y’s Mentorship program connects these brilliant minds with industry leaders and professionals who provide the coaching and networking needed to navigate life after high school.
Objectives:
Career Buddies: Pairing 11th and 12th graders with 1-on-1 mentors to assist with career mapping and soft-skills training.
Scholarship Navigation: Providing expert help in identifying and applying for global and national scholarships to ensure financial constraints don't stop higher education.
How You Can Help:
Sign up as a Volunteer Mentor for 2 hours a month, or donate to our "Exam Fund" to cover university entrance exam fees.
Previously Cause Impact:
90% of the students in our mentorship track successfully applied for higher education or vocational training programs.
